TNS or TNCS supply?

swifters

Hi all, please see attached? TNS or TNCS supply? Looks like it could be a TNCS but no notice to say that it is? IMG-20130805-00186.jpg

My dilog tester performs zs/ze test when line, neutral and earth are detected. I don't think it can test kA as you suggest.

Additionally, the house had sockets in the skirting’s but they were mounted in plastic boxes so not flush with the skirting’s. Is it a bit harsh giving a C2 for this do you think? After all, they are in plastic Patresses which are none flamiable?

nothing to do with flammable. it's whether the flexes are damaged by being close to the floor. if not, then a C3 at most.

No code at all, so long as there is no strain on the plug top cord, ....whether flush or surface!!! What's flammability got to do with anything? BTW, flush metal back boxes aren't flammable either!!

if the earthing conductor is connected to the concentric outer ( N ), then it's TNC-S. if it goes to a metallic sheath, it's TN-S.

swifters I would be surprised if your tester did not do PFC & PSC tests mate.

Thats what I was driving at but wanted to know if he knew . No offence I am not trying to trick anybody I just want to know how competent they are and my thinking is if you don't know you should not be doing it .This trade is not about training on the hoof

Also, just having the cover off that, with those exposed connections, is close to suicidal!
