Just been out to see a "problem"! The RCD for the sockets is tripping and the lady of the house thinks its something to do with the electrics outside......

Not easy to tell from this photo but there are a number of places to start and that's not even allowing for all the junctions and accessories around the garden.

It could be something straightforward .....but something tells me that there's going to be some rework to be done here!

Well she thinks shes getting a board change, but thats just my theory on how he will be doing it cheap. After all, most customers wouldnt know the difference. She gets her boiler fitted which is all she's after. Shes planning on having an extension soon though so will have to upgrade then. Yea I agree Johnny, just in the process of doing a CU change for my nan, as soon as thats finnished im boarding her house up :wings:

If she's going to need a full board soon anyway you should tell her to ask the plumber to fit one now alongside the existing one and just stick the boiler on it for the time being until she has the work done when the circuits can just be moved over, that'll save her a few quid long term and keep you on her Xmas card list.
