I was only asking, I agree twist it till it squeaks that will do

Good lad!

I believe there may be hope for you yet. ;)

I have to agree but I am a tool tart, that's why they called me Inspector Gadget when I was on the tools, if it was shiny I had to have it regardless you ought to have seen mt tool box when I gave up working.

Ime just as bad Pete, i usually have the best equipped box of anyone with all draws labelled.
I get a bit upset if someone borrows something without asking and even more so if it dont get put back in the right draw!!
That being said I dont think you should get to play with the easy tools till u can use the standard ones.

Though Like I said I have never owned a torque driver lol

I was told at college if another spark can get another turn or more on your terminal then you should feel ashamed lol

lol i get called that.

in my opinion the only use for torque drivers is to stop monkeys over tightening shllty connections.

Any tradesman worthy of the title should not need one of these things. He should KNOW when the screw is tightened correctly!!

Torque wrenches where you need to tighten something like a cylinder head down evenly are fine, but tightening a few screws in a consumer unit??? .... Come off it - it's a joke!!

Don't know about you...but I only like using a wench when she's not talking...............especially if a bit loose.

It does happen, i changed a MClad Double Socket and box last week where someone had sheared the socket pin clean off on one side.
I have no idea how the hell they managed it as ive never come across one before but oh well.

Loose connections today in a shower, perhaps the Sparky didn't have any torque drivers, or didn't give a big time grawnch
