Perhaps... but I kid you not, most of that made 0% sense to me, and most of it I was looking up just to see what it was lol, we definitely haven't touched on this stuff yet

Mate that's brilliant if you are looking stuff up and learning as you go, I remember doing questions on here over nearly two year ago that we've recently covered at college and I flew through them as I still had it in my head... I'll check your PM now [emoji106]

I have my answer with my workings typed up.

Sorry i haven't been on much to give any updates on this! i'm going to set a closing date of Sunday 24th May (a week on sunday) I'll post up a list of who is in the draw so far tonight... Good luck guys!

We may provide a breakdown of the answer after the competition ends so you can compare to your calculations.

Yeah had to learn about a fair whack lol, then the day after I sent the right answer we started to cover part of it at college

That is just typical but it is always good to be ahead of the pack! It can make you look like the brainbox of the group, "yeah, this is easy, I get this":sunny:
At least you have gone over it twice now so it should stick.:thinking:

Making the attempt shows that you have the potential to go further as you are putting in the effort to learn. It will stand you in good stead later.

Couldn't agree more with this, the fact you are looking into stuff and learning off your own back shows you are keen and will go far [emoji106]

Haha, I wish it took much to look smart in our class, half the class is really struggling with turns, voltage and current calculations.
 
I'm about to PM Paul with the list of correct entries with each member having their own number. Richard will then select a number at random and Paul will announce the winner.

This is the legal bit..... I have reported both Richards winning number and Pennychews PM's so the staff room has a time dated record of this draw. I can post up a screen shot of each if anyone request it (but not tonight, I'm trying to watch a film and get my leg over with Mrs. M lol.. not at the same time btw).
