I agree, when I worked away the company allway booked is in there.. Little chef was the best you could get.. Advertised beer on the menu but didnt sell it due to it being on the motorway.. Disappointing

I was out last night for a few drinks, so just needed a bed to sleep in really.
contemplated staying in the Hilton (only £13 extra) but decided against it as
I only needed a bed!

as bigbaddave says it doesn't take long to sticker it up, id of probably done it myself if i was there and took 20p off the bill. Not much to worry about really mate, only a few dodgy stickers, poor i agree for a hotel but nout to worry about.

I stayed at the Thurrock Travelodge once while visiting relatives, the large car park normally gets used by car clubs and unfortunately for me it was chav night.

Drove across the country the next day and found 200 miles later I had very little breaking power, upon investigation, found they'd been vandalised. Shame, room was quite cozy

PAT testing is just job creation anyway. The tests might not have been done for a while but at least when it was last done they tested the fixed equipment instead of trying to palm it off as 'someone else's problem'.
I'd be more concerned about the broken aerial lead on the telly.

if you think that's bad i have seen melted plugs in use and pat stickers that were 13 years out of date....the new scheme now does not even use stickers with dates on them anymore....
