Does anyone know where i can find the table for tri-rated cable current carrying capacities which incorporate installation methods such as "in trunking".:banghead:

Im with snowhead: Table 4E1A ref method B.
Tri-rated cable is 90 deg C.

Can't run any cable at a temperature above that of the connected accessories, so you have to limit the CCC to 70 deg. unless you have 90 or above rated accessories.
Hence why I posted the references I did.
Tri is often actually rated at 105 deg, or at least the stuff I use is.

The OP just asked for the CCC of tri-rated cables in trunking. I gave him the info....
If you are not allowed to use 90 deg cables with accessories that are 70 deg cables then why would you use it?
The tri-rated cables we usually use for panel wiring are rated at 90.

Panels aren't governed by Bs 7671 and the tables within it.

eh??? I think we may be getting our wires crossed here.. I'm on about electrical panels with relays, contactors, plc's.... We work to BS7671...

I think i've found the answer, according to table 4A3 tri-rated cables to BS6231 come under table 4D1 if installed in conduit or trunking.

snowhead is correct.
Electrical panels for machinery are specifically excluded from BS7671 & are covered by the statute law of the low voltage directive, the machinery directive, & the EMC directive, which are new approach directives that have been brought into UK law by various acts of parliament.
Basically BS7671 is irrelevant to machinery control panels, so if you are designing & building to this then you are not meeting the requirements of the law.
You should be working to several standards, the equivalent to BS7671 would be BSEN60204-1, however there are a plethora of others, which, to be deemed a competent panel designer & builder you would be required to be in possession of.
