I don't think you'll find a 25V touch voltage stipulated anywhere in BS7671:2008

To be honest I cannot remember where I came across a 25V touch voltage, it may have been when I did a stint panel building/assisting in testing, possibly a panel for the gas/petroleum industry or medical ?, I had it in my mind possibly for swimming pools, but a quick look at the regs suggests otherwise.:smile5:

dont farms have a 25v touch voltage

I had a quick look through GN7, and it suggests <= 50V, but I haven't had an in depth search of the Regs.

Iam racking my brains to try and remember where I came across this, unless it was for a 'specific requirement' over and above the Regs. but Pass ?, or as you say in an earlier edition of the regs.

No probs mate...Sorry about that TQ Will have to read the post a bit clearer next time lol......:smile5:
Sorry mate, I didn't see this. No need for apols. I usually read the whole thread through first (and can forget what was said by whom). I should go back and read the OP again (which I normally do after posting to ensure all the questions have been answered) then often realise I've misunderstood the OP entirely :banghead:.

Lol, I wasn't guessing when I said it was deleted from BS7671:2008 ;)
