I've used stainless steel ones (a long time ago!) which were very effective.Anyone use one and can recommend a smallish one? I'm looking to pay up to £100 but read a few reviews and there's a lot of fake ones out there. I watched a youtube strip down of one and the 'ultrasonics' consisted of a vibrating motor!
As usual with RS they are a bit on the expensive side. The cheapest is a bit on the small side. The next one up is over £200 with VATRS has them.
Yup, it eats away at the foil but I can't test them before I buy.You can test it with aluminium foil
From what I've read the plastic ones should be avoided. They don't work anywhere near as efficiently as the stainless. I'm not sure why though. Perhaps the plastic attenuates the ultrasonics?I've used stainless steel ones (a long time ago!) which were very effective.
I was given a plastic cased one more recently, and it's not as good. I would steer clear of the really cheap ones, as you are aware.
Best would be one made by 'Walker', but even used on eBay they are around ~£200!
Someone got a bargain though: Walker ultrasonic Bath / cleaner Professional Unit | eBay - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/356370841356?
So sorry, this doesn't answer your question![]()
I don't think sticking my head in the bath would be a good idea. My teeth are not removable - yet!Your teeth must be really really dirty.![]()
