I didn't find any information about SY in basec site but your experience is more than convincing.
In case of long distance between frequency converter and motor (for example 50 m) what is the best solution between
SWA -> Junction box -> SY
all SY

Yes a break between the VFD is preferable.
As Benji stated a local isolator is required, the ideal location for the transition from SWA to SY.

In the water industry, SWA is used from the VSD to the motor. In the VSD starter cabinet, we sheild the inner cores, by sleeving it with earthed copper braid. I clamped the braid of a 150kW pump a few months ago, and I got 12A through my meter. Another thing is that we don't install isolators between the VSDs and the pumps.. 90% of the time the starter is visible from the pump. Almost all of the borehole pumps have no local isolation, and some of them are fed 500m away or more.

Some drive manufacturers preclude isolation in the drive outputs, so IF the drive and its outputs come under 7671 then you are bound by 7671 to comply with the makers instructions regardless if 7671 requires local isolation or not.

Local isolation isnt always required as in say 'adjacent to a motor' if you comply with 537.2.1.5 and/or 537.3.1.2, a common sense approach can usually let you identify whether its required so if you can isolate and lock off the control cabinet for the machine / motor and are in control of its ability to be re-energised then isolators are not required.

Thanks for your clarification. I'm under EN 60204-1, and drive manufacturer does not indicate preclusion.
The local disconnector is a suitable option (not the only option) for 60204, and I'm planning to use it.

Similar (or maybe the same) to EN60204-1. Thanks

I would agree with tony. SY cable is definitely flexible enough for shaker motors, it is the only cable I use for this application.
