As long as the Wagos are in their box then you can.

Wago connectors are maintenance free, so no need to be accessible.

Let's be explicit about this. Wago connectors themselves are not maintenance-free. The complete assembly of connectors and matching enclosure, installed as per the manufacturers instructions, with the connectors limited to a lower current rating where applicable, is maintenance-free.

Wago connectors are made for the international market with all sorts of different applications, but the maintenance-free concept is specific to UK regs and BS5733. So there are many ways and places that Wago themselves would recommend to install their connectors, that don't meet the requirements of BS5733 MF.

Ideally, the cable should be disconnected from wherever so it’s not live, but if not then maybe place the WAGO box somewhere like under floor or in a void, rather than hidden in the wall with no clues it’s there.

It may very well be compliant, however good practice tells (me) that joints should not be buried in walls best to keeps runs in this area in one continuous length.

Who is to say that the connection would not be part of the continuous line?
I think we need more info from the OP.
Yes, in an ideal world it would be better to have no joints buried but the regs do allow it.

How many and what type of cables do you want to join, Chocbox is the last thing I would use.
