me and lenny have the kraftform kompakt in the roll, i used mine last week and they are great, nice and easy on the hands and the belt loop is a bonus as i get sick of looking round for mine when i use the normal ones. so far so happy :)

Glad you're happy with them Phil! :)

I got a set of the kompakts off my dad for christmas. been using them for 2 days and they are rally good. I thought the blade might be a bit slack in the holder. but there is no play at all. You would not tell the difference between them and a normal set.

I have some of the standard Kraftform both VDE and standard. Love em.

Tried some of the impact bits for my impact driver and cordless drill driver and they seem impossible to destroy. A set of Dewalts impact bit lasted me only 3 weeks

Well ive read some people hate the interchangeable wira sets .. not me i love them as i do small calls set of prods ,snips and the screwdriver set and your sorted all you have to do is make sure they are all back in the roll and youve no problem save taking in the tool box most of the time ,and belive it or not less likley to be lost

I see the interchangeable ones as a nightmare personal opinion of course. when I'm up a ladder terminating 100 downlights I need 2 different drivers for the task they are at either end of my pouch so I can grab them without looking and know which is in my hand if I had to swap the blades constantly it would drive!! me nuts. The driver set should be marketed as a facilities Maintenance mans set, they are using the drivers intermittently and sometimes need a strange size so it's perfect for light use.

I have the 18 piece set in my tool bag as a backup and love it. I use Irazola Pozi's and CK Slotted's daily, but also keep the Wera's handy. Also if I am working from rope or just up high, I always have the Wera's on my harness in case I forget/drop a driver whilst up there (I can't lanyard everything) . I would struggle to use them daily as, like pennywise I usually have a couple of drivers on me at any one time, however I still think the Wera's a great bit of kit. I also have the Kompakt non insulated 40 piece roll as I sometimes find the head of one of my VDE drivers won't fit due to the insulation or a piece of equipment requires an unusual size bit.

ive got a wera 10mm slotted and its the most sturdy driver ive got. i use it as a podger for large cables ect, and a chisel (naughty i know), but ity is solid. im really impressed with it!

I have these without the stupid light up one and a few larger flats.
I like the feel of them and they last reasonably well.
If I had the other set you looked at, I know I would loose the individual ends.

Tried Irazolas and did not like the feel of them.

I have those as well.

The big handles are useful when you're getting on in years & the Arthritis starts to kick in !!! :hanged:

Wera screwdriver bits especially designed to withstand higher torque levels with absorbs excessive torque making these a great choice for those heavier jobs.Wera Screwdrivers in South Africa are manufactured by HWS Industries. Supplies the full range of Wera Classic screwdrivers and speciality products .

Very good.

Did you manage to Google that all by yourself?

Cant beat the comfort drivers, they have a nice grip and you can use the tips of your finders on the end of the driver. brought my dad the wera Plus VDE and they are a bit slippery
