What code 100ma rcd

Hi I'm doing a pir on three bed house. It has 100ma rcd main switch. Would this be code 3 (improvement recommended) or code 2 (unaccepable)?

no code. if there's no 30mA RCDs for sockets, bathroom circuits, cables < 50mm deep in walls, then that's a code C3.

Hi. It's a tns system. Only circuit protected by 30ma rcd is ring for whole house. No supplimentary bonding either.

so all you do is code C3 anything that is not to 17th. any potentialo dangers, then code C2.

Wouldn't it be a potential danger having no supp bonding and no 30 ma rcd for bathroom and kitchen circuits?

nope. probably been like that for years and all inhabitants are still alive.just a C3, IMO.

C3 for lack of rcd for bathroom circuits
C2 for lack of supp bonding in bathroom if no rcd protection.

I was thinking same as biff as no supp bonding with no 30ma rcd. So code 2.

If there's 30mA on sockets then no code for the 100mA

No equipotential bonding I would put as a C2

Has the lack of supplementary bonding been determined by testing or by visual alone?

so we have 30ma protection to portable equipment circuits? okay no code for the 100 ma IMO, and no supplementry bonding at all? a code 2 for me regardless of any regs, I like to make my own up called good practice, like fans and showers without local isolation, again a code 2 for me :icon10: maybe a 3 for others.

so you give a C2 for no fan isolator even though bs7671 doesnt ask for it ?
