What do you use for your Certs?
Pen & paper
Or software if its a software which one and is it expensive/worth the money? Surely there's a cheaper alternative to easycert?
I am after one that preferably does form filling for cheaper than the above!!!

Does it fill columns in for you? I.e max zs's etc?

Yes - You need to select the type and the rating of the breakers plus you can elect to show 100% of the permissable maximum or select 80%

If you do EICR's it includes the regs numbers against the faults highlighted.

I think you can download the software and use it for a few days FOC - give it a try.

You can also print to a "pdf" file so you can email the certs to your customer too

I work for a large comapny, all my work is done with pen and paper, but it then gets scanned into a computer and a certificate generated.

untill now i've been using some of the editable PDF certs on this forum but have been looking to get something better as it's time consuming, and i can't save halfway through and sometimes the PDF crashes, but last week a mate passed on a job to me, he gave me the EICR cert he'd done at the property and explained what needed done etc, and i was amazed at how good the cert looked. and then i asked him how much the software was and he said it was ÂŁ4 from ebay. so i bought one and it's in the post! looks quite good, theres loads on ebay, a hell of a price difference between them and easycert!

I created certificates in word laid out the way I wanted them (with fewer pages!) and generally fill them out by hand, if I feel keen I will fill them out on the PC when I get home, but usually not.
Should transfer them to excel for easier computer completion, or set them up as a form in word, but too lazy.
