Good evening looking for recommendations on a decent extractor fan for use in a wet-room? Extractor fan will be vented straight through the wall inside zone 1
domestic wet-room client not bothered about price just wants quality

thanks chaps

I don't think there's much difference in wall fans. If you go for a IPx5 one it doesn't need to be ELV. If you want better air flow an inline one is the way to go and it probably wouldn't be notifiable work.

I've used the Envirovent SIL100T a few times - it's IP45 rated so OK for Zone 1. Quiet and none of the ones I've put in have failed as yet.

The only issues is that it has a 'back draft shutter' but it's the thin clear plastic type that isn't much use so you'll likely need external flaps too.

The other annoyance (but common with many fans these days) is the writing on the cover which means you can only put it one way up, so only works if the cable is put in the right place (bottom left)
