Without changing the fuse board what would be the best way to get a 50a supply to a shower.

I was hoping If I could not get an RCBO just an MCB to supply an RCD unit.

Wishful thinking
 
Yes 10.5- 10.8kW now seem to be a popular choice Marvo - the perception being that you'll get better flow of hot water even in winter when the incoming water is very cold. But the customers [and often plumbers] don't understand the electrical implications at all unfortunately.
 
With that board I'd go with a separate unit for the shower. You can get electric showers up to 12.5KW which is pushing things rather a lot. We fitted one last year (with permission from DNO) wired with 16mm T+E. Ridiculous.

I wish that I had suggested that, oh I did!
Keep the existing fuseboard and add a separate 'mini' CU that has an RCD and an MCB in it (aka shower unit)
