265's from segen? i thought they were surprisingly cheap actually, obviously wont say here, but first time i used them and will be pushing them in future as they show great retuns etc.

We always quote 2 days, 2 roofers for a day (3 if it's slate) and a spark for 2 days. It's rarely done in a day and if it is it's usually the day before the roofers :-( once the electrics are done the same person does the certs and everything is mailed to the customer the same day. None of our customers have ever complained about the time taken, they feel looked after and it gives us breathing space in case something doesn't turn up or we come across something that we hadn't known about.

Got a 10 panel and a 8 panel today.

8 panel system had a women round before me, dropped the price by a ÂŁ1000 to ÂŁ11950!! and gave them a 7 year payback on that! id love to see her calculations! unbelievable.

Especially when i could dismiss it so easily and gain confidence from buyer with good honest information! Worrying thing is they nearly signed up with her.

Not uncommon over here for that mistake to still be made with twin brown. Seen a few circuits ripped out when 1.5 3C&E was lifted instead of 2.5 T&E.
