I possibly did not explain what i was thinking in the post and was getting at additional works or a periodic and like they assumed what i was saying i hope they don't assume its copper.
Yes the tin hat was to hand, and I assume the shovel is plastic ? lol.
 
i thought everyone knew plastic pipe should be bonded with 10mm earth cable lol
with me being a gas engineer ive been on jobs where the plastic condensate pipe on boilers has been cross bonded to the other copper pipes. had a few laughs over that. even seen a fuse spur for the boiler taken of a light ring

I can better that. I've seen a shower fed from a lighting circuit using 1.5mm to take the feed to a 40A dp switch!
