whats the point of this forum? its getting a bit boring these days , someone asks a question ( some completely stupid ) and all they get is are you competent , are you stupid , what does the regs book say , they are asking a question because they don't know the answer , if guys on here don't like it then just don't comment on it , all i see is pages and pages of the same guys and the same dribble , the guys in question are very helpful and know their stuff but are just letting themselves down lately.

Why don't you name and shame

Because he's banned and his name would be top of the list :)

Now that's the kind of support I want to see from the admin team well said Sintra

Hiya mate, still going good but cut my hours down, wasn't getting home till 9pm ish and was too fked to get the books out so still doing what I can but concentrating on my studies too, I need to concentrate because the motors, ac theory, inductors, conductors etc module can be a tad baffling till it's straight in my head

I'm waiting to hear about an apprenticeship I went for a few weeks ago

Still waiting for your call to say come jump on :)

I have used this site since 2011, I have asked stupid questions and sometimes not so stupid questions, but of late I have noticed a lot of questions that are already answered on here, if we are now becoming that lazy that we can't be bothered using the search facility then you should think twice before posting and yes some posts are replied with tongue in cheek replies, but given the industry we are in the banter isn't all that graceful on site. We're not trainee vicars are we??
I agree with the OP, but also you have to laugh at some of the posts, as it's quite obvious they are after info on how to do the job rather than someone who is asking for training. You can tell them a mile off. Like this has been mentioned 100's of times before, if you don't like it don't get involved. If you can help, help. But the site rules don't mention sarcasm and in some ways it's good to vent off in some way shape or forum...see what I did there!!

Also a place where friendships can be made and laughs can be had. You can also buy and sell equipment etc, some members have no sense of humour at all, on a large site with dozens of trades the banter is going all day. I wonder how many here would last a day on a big site.
The bold bit just made me actually laugh out loud sitting here on my laptop. This was one of the "war cries" a few years back. I even remember a friend (fellow spark) asking a bloke "Hey you never been on a big site yet mate ?" We were on TML (Channel tunnel) were not many bigger sites kicking around at that time lol. But yes it was an oft asked question of some "types". Usually designed to show Mr.Knowall generally knows f-all. Sorry just brought back some nice memories. Thanks MDJ
