It’s a board. Take the cover off and they’re probably be 2 or 4 rewirable fuses in there. Probably from about mid 1950’s

A switched Fuse, in the ON POSITION looks like an MEM one or similar, one fuse only ( Hunt for Red October) give me a fuse.
