It looks like a fused thermal switch with an indicator light to me. That is what the symbol represents.

It looks like an old symbol. The new iec symbols we use dont use the small round circles any more.
Are you saying you know what it is, and are asking other people if they know?

Sorry Spoon - still fiddling with it, no, i don't know what it is, it's from a drawing i have for a job in Spain, a lot of symbols are European now and I am hoping it's recognizable in the UK.

Its ok. As I said if you follow the symol, from bottom to top, you have a fuse, then a thermal switch, with an indicator light. Thats how I came up with a fused thermal switch with an indicator light. But I have never come across one of them before.

Thanks, I will try to get a better image up, this is my own version that I drew, but if it is viewed in its proper context it may be easier to ID.

Good question? We show a fuse with a line running through it, not from corner to corner. But then again we have never shown a coil with a line through it. I will carry on checking. Beats what im doing now anyhow.

This is a better representation of the symbol, hope it's clearer.
