Hi. I’ve recently gone self employed worked for a company previously. I need to do 18th edition and my inspection and testing before I can register with niceic. They said in the mean time I’m able to sign off work using green certificates and then they can

I used to use these for ages but I think they are a bit out of date now.

Note though that "signing off" work with these test certs doesn't mean the part P side of things. Also don't you now need to do the AM" as well before you can join the nicey.

Do you mean the am2? I spoke to niceic and they said I just need the inspection and testing and 18th edition to enrol with them. While Doing the certificate before enrolling with them. Who do you get to sign the qualified supervisor? Do I need to get someone already with niceic?

If you are self employed you are the Qualified Supervisor. You sign your own certificates. I would add the QS role makes more sense in a company with a number of employees where you can have 1 QS and several Electricians of course a one man band doesn't fit that structure so you are effectively the QS if that makes sense.

Yea that makes sense. Even tho I’m not registered with niceic yet as still need to do the extra training. I’m still signing the qs part?
