I've been looking at a route to run mini trunking (16x25) from CU to a cupboard and from there on to another room.

Got most of the route planned in terms of getting from the room to the cupboard and from the cupboard to hall ceiling.

Now I'm looking at options to get from the ceiling down to the CU.

Is there any issue with running trunking down the pink route shown below?

Or would the green be a better option to go with, albeit less tidy looking as it would have to go over the doorframe.

Porno vids or fake DVD's:D:)

Lol, don't think you need much power to run a DVD burner or ten :)

The spooks are monitoring the good systems night and day and the really saucy stuff is on networks with no external link so not hackable unless at the machine which often is a terminal comprising screen, keyboard and mouse the actual computer is a virtual job on the server.
Even the white hats fear the long arm of us justice.. forget uk jails in america hacking gets you decades not years!! So be careful what you crack as if its on a us server the yanks will be coming

Not looking to crack anything that would ever cause me legal issue.

Not stupid enough to have posted such information in the public domain with my name and pic on the post if it could ever cause me issue either :p

I'm surprised the landlord is OK with you adding the extra circuit, cables, sockets etc. to be honest. I am a landlord (wait for a certain person to reply now :) ) and I wouldn't entertain it - it would be no use for anyone else who rented the property.

This is why, almost certainly, it will have to be removed. It's only particularly useful for me. Also why I'm not looking to do a permanent install.

If there had been at least a separate ring circuit for the kitchen, I would not be looking to push this, so landlord could either install additional circuits that would support any tenant (at LLs cost) or allow current tenant to safely modify the installation to suit their needs (at tenants cost).

Either way, I have to request this so that I'm not in breach of the tenancy agreement with regards to not overloading the electrics system installed.

It's then either a yes, you can go ahead with this but at your cost both now and upon removal, or okay we'll look to move.

Given that I've agreed to a 3-year lease, it's not like we're going to be looking to move any time soon so in that regard it seems worthwhile to me to have it done, and I can't imagine it makes that much difference for the landlord.

Offered to pay increased deposit on the basis that if it's not made good upon exit they can deduct this, which is really the only negative I can think of considering its LLs electricians coming in so they'd be the ones doing any works anyway and he obviously entrusts them to do this.

As I previously contributed there is absolutely no requirement for existing installations to be changed ............ and if I were your landlord, I would not be letting a tenant under take such works.

Sparks have qualifications and PL insurance .................

4 pages on the routing of a couple of feet of mini trunking. must be a record.

It's the landlords electricians that came out to investigate my breaker flipping and their opinion was that this would be a solution to the problem.

I discussed my studying for my level 2 with them and advised I had all materials and would be keen to get my hands as dirty as they'll let me.

How is any of this in any way an issue if the LL and electricians are happy?

I'm genuinely interested as I will be looking to find work and I thought that doing work alongside a qualified spark was a fine way to do it?

Right now, I'm putting together the design but this will be sent via them and they're in charge in terms of what happens from there.

I just want to be as hands on as I can with this, but make no mistake the qualified sparks are in charge.

Yes they will be monitoring you well and truly now mate, wait for the knock on the door early hours, or a mysterious phone call when you least expect it, I know.
If not with that smart meter spinning round at 100mph sending info back there sure to call the rozzers thinking he has got a pot farm on the go.:)
