That was a very tongue in cheek comment, I am quite familiar with the synchronisation of generators. Although it is normally for redundancy rather than increasing the max capacity

TedM - please provide evidence that solar generation is used on site unless it's island mode or battery.

I can see plenty of evidence in this thread, but not what you are looking for I'm sure.

Meanwhile, you could ask yourself:

1. Why do people with PV sometimes fit Immersuns and such similar devices?

2. When you produce a quote for a customer what items go in to the payback calculation?

3. When a customer applies for a FiT contract what does the declaration they sign say about metering?

4. What does voltage actually mean?
