Why do I always upset people

Hi guys,
I think that the title of this posting says it all really... How do I manage to upset at least one person on any post that I reply to; or post subject matter on?
I thought that the whole idea of this forum, was so that a certain group of people - with one of the most important subjects in their lives, ie work, could all get together and express an honest opinion without the fear of ridicule or censor. What is happening in this Country (and to a degree, on this forum) when even the most mundane subjects and incidents are taken out of context). I'll be the first to admit that I ain't always been the happiest of campers on here, but I've never gone out of my way to take offence! So I'd like to conclude by telling my critics to grow up, and accept the fact, that, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

I have put my foot in it at times. I don't wish to offend anyone, and i also like you accept that everyone has an opinion and they are entitled to it. I have on a few occasions taken replies the wrong way and come back with a bit of a sharp retort, which has not gone down too well, as DES 56 will testify. I have on those occasions apologised to those concerned. What we have to avoid is this forum going down the same road as the bigshed forum. Fortunately we have great bunch of mods who keep the forum and us contributors in check. And because the forum attracts what I would describe as the more professional type of people then it shouldn't go down the pan anyway.

However, you are correct in stating that some certain sporting 'stars' act in a deplorable way - certainly, some PREMIER LEAGUE Footballers. I don't understand what you mean by the wording in your posting mate, but assume that I've pee'd you off somehow, or you've been on the ale??? upset ie our conversation after rugby

Couldn't agree more!!

Ken, it’s your brutal honesty that some people find offensive. On your travels through life you will come across an awful lot of individuals with very thin skins. I personally only have one thing to say to them on this matter: “Copula eame se non posit acceptara jocularem”
And as for you:”Illegitimi non carborundum”

I meant that I couldn't agree more re: the Latin. Don't know why people take offence at opinions. Finding opinions offensive is one thing but taking offence is another. Keep up the good work MK
