Why has this forum become riddled with critical and sarcastic Trolls

Why can't people stick with supportive comments and ask for clarity if they are unsure about the post's meaning. Is it asking too much for them to stay in context with positive feedback instead of uninformed ridicule?

The forum does seem to be getting that way. I like a jest but some threads seem to get rapidly off track and out of hand.

I enjoy the tongue in cheek jesting it's the other stuff that gets me. Whether it's an electricians mate or college lecturer we all have something to contribute or ask.

We are reminded every time we respond. "Make sure you reply in keeping with the forum rules, polite and professional even if you disagree with the posts above" (abbreviated)

It's text mate. Posts never come across like you want them to. All depends on the people who read them and how they are put across. Take you post below from this thread: post #15
