I confess it, i'm an electrician and I don't have a bootlace ferrule tool! i just give em a little squeeze with the cutters to stop em falling off and then put them in the terminal and the terminal screw crimps just fine for the job!

And I was just beginning to like you too.....
 
Would it patch things up if I told the story of how I had a newly qualified Electrical Trainee come to work with me for a couple of days recently so he could get some experience in the real world and I helped him to the conclusion that his knowledge of the real world is severely lacking! Think it might have knocked him back a bit!
 
Anything which helps people with 5 weeks of training realise that they have much to learn is always a step in the right direction....
Now, get yourself a set of crimping pliers and we can put this behind us. :grouphug:
