Don't people strip wires anymore @Specialist?
Cable shears do a very good job and train you to be careful. I use a jokari to strip the end of singles - great for 2nd fix and in tight spots.

Where did I say people don't strip wires anymore ?, Thought I merely pointed out that the poster was replying to a 6 year old thread & may struggle to get a response.
