Discuss wood bits ??? in the Electrical Tools and Products area at ElectriciansForums.net

ive used lots (and lots)of fast 4 and irwin bits and some cheap copys.
you can re touch them with a file when worn..but nails are a problem.
i love em an 18v battery drill will do a 25 mm hole in a joist as a rule but a 240v angle drill and you can drill through anything made of wood no worrys.
this said id like to see what angles these bits should be sharpened to...i just guess a bit...works for a while.
i hate to throw a new bit just coz of cliping a nail when 98% of it is good.
better still are joists with knockouts or steel rail between....super joists ..love it..
