Hi All,

Not sure which forum to use to get advise so this will do....
Have completed C&G2330 2,3, on NVQ3, got CS card, shortly have Part P and 17th, done few installation jobs, rewires and fault finding repair stuff... having great difficulty finding work experience.. Have applied for loads of jobs, no replies, guess what not enough experience... Offered to work for free... no luck there...tried for Electrician, E Mate, E improver jobs etc- no luck..

As u all know work exp essential to get nvq and various tickets..

Any sparkys out there had similar problems?? any advice on how to get experience and then into the world of paid work?? advise great fully received...

Naz:(

thanks ma4tty and dupspark...

Hi mate,

know exactly what u mean...

done all those mates rates jobs for family and friends, apart from **** money theres issue of certification... no exp to get nvq or registration to trade bodies...

what these bull**** training companies dont tell u when taking ur ÂŁ6k is the difficulty in getting traing, work exp or paid work...

Also self employed still have problem with issuing certs...

Hi Naz, welcome to the forum.
Im on my 3rd year 2330 now and been trying for about the full 3 years to get that "foot in the door".
Been doing small jobs for freinds and family, but they soon dry up. I just keep trying and something will turn up.:)

Steve.
