Hi all,im currently an Apprentice and need some advice for a job that my boss is doing. He plans to put a fused spur on a 32a ring circuit to feed a CSU for a couple of sockets in the shed. The cable run is about 45 meters long using SWA (not sure what size). Is this acceptable because this doesn't seem right to me?cheers perry

He most likely just wants a light in his shed.. let install a 6 mm SWA from the CU stick a rod in, dig up the garden, wreck the house, just so the poor sod can see his potting plants...
Spur off ring, 4mm radial SWA. make sure RCD protected. let him pot the plants...
Now if its a work shop down there, well!!!!!!!!!! thats a diffrent storey
