so you say that 2 amp is ok so just log it on paper work as result this has been driving me crazy all day going round and round in my head i now im looking for low pfc but wasnt expecting it this low so il just record 2amp then yes

if its 2a how can you possibly record anything else?

think you may be confusing tests/ readings, which are causing you confusion.

max pfc typically 16ka (at origin) your reading needs to be less than this to ensure protective device can handle the current

ok thanks ezzzekiel dose that rest sound right to you it just seemed low to me was wondering if i had done something wrong my pscc was 0.33

dont normally do all the testing just installation and a guy follows behind testing but he left the company.

think you were maybe thinking of a max Zs reading or simmilar can get confusing when starting out, buy a copy of gn3 very simple to follow with clear pictures that way you have something to refer to which will ensure you are testing correctly and prove if there is actually a fault that would need invetigating or if you are carrying out test incorrectly.

alternatively take lenny to work with you in your toolbag....

you could record it anway
1 ampere = 0.001 kiloamperes

however as stated above PFC is the higher of PEFC AND PSCC, 2thats two seperate tests and the higher is the reading recorded in your case 0.33
