I know this is a crap thread but,

I have always used a box and it got untidy very quickly, so I thought I would try a bag with compartments and even though my screwdrivers and cutters are in order of preference I can't get used to not having compartments for screws, etc.

Also my hacksaw doesn't fit in, it is the ck tote bag and though it looks the part I think I prefer the good old box.

What are you using?

ck technicians case and ck tote the big one. i have a screwfix tin box for the screws and clips

got a toolbox, but bought a toolbag for carrying on the train. much prefer a box,but it does get filled with crap. Mines got hundreds of drill bits and taps in it!

I was using a box but got sick of constantly having to rearrange the contents to close the lid. So now using an open tote bag that is big enough to take a couple of plastic organiser boxes for all the bits and bobs, as well as my clamp meter and voltage proving unit as well as a few other things i carried seperately before. Working quite well so far :)

Box. Just cleaned it out as a matter of fact and it took me about 3 hours, so I guess it gets full of rubbish. On the other hand, you can't stand on a bag, can you?

Have been considering a tote for some time, though.

I've always wondered what you do with all those little bits of insulation you get in box/bag that clogs up when you have stripped cable about 10 metres from your box/bag, but still manage to get in.

Pockets full of everthing from cutters, knife and one of each driver. But mainly big box, but bags are begining to look good

nissan van is my toolbox. everthing fits in

ck technicians case for all the regularly used bits, CK belt for ladder work, compartment box for fixings and a tool box for all the other tools, which normally stays sat in the vehicle untouched except for loading / unloading every morning / evening.

Had a toolbag but it ended up being a bag that had a lot of screws, rawplug, grommets etc with some tools in it so I have a big tool box and a small toolbox that have my hand tools in it

Veto pro pack for all the tools, then grab the tools needed for the job and stick them in the tool belt :D

I use a B&D open top solid tote thing.

Loads of pockets for drivers.

Had it a coupe of years and a few of the pockets on the sides have split on the bottom.
