Can't get in at the mo no keys the owners had the house for three months getting ready for letting didn't even know there was a shed !!

I think more likely to be along these lines. At least at one time.

Having said that, it's very old gear. Maybe an innocent shed supply done as a side job by an industrial spark ages ago with gear he robbed from site.
