Not a question. Just feeling annoyed and venting.

I carried out an EICR on a small domestic property, cleared a few small faults free of charge but gave an Unsatisfactory to Main Earthing and Equipotential Bonding Conductor Sizes.

Gave a low quote to put right.

He now phoned me up to say he has completed the repairs himself.

Annoying - as I will have to go over there are inspect and retest Ze and bond continuity anyway.

He must have opened up the consumer unit as well.

Grrrr!

Any thoughts welcome but I suspect I have to just suck it up (buttercup).

Bit to far mate, but a virtual pint or two is all we can manage, what are you having? mines a pint of the Black stuff, cheers.
mine is this:

i have a weston's glass for cider, theakston's glass for OP, marston's glass for pedigree, and 4 stella glasses for the lager louts when they visit. Mrs. T. not like all these glasses cluttering up the cupboard, but i say pot calling kettle with all your various plates, cups, mugs, and assorted crap. OUCH. never saw her behind me then.

Know how you feel, my Lad managed a boozer for a while, got glasses all over the place.

Not tried that one next week Tesco, have a look for a few bottles.
LOL, Tel cannot afford to go to Tesco, he shops at Lidl, that is when they let him in, 20 staff need to be in the store first, they cannot afford to lose the tills.

Could you two take this conversation out the back to the alley - we’re trying to keep a decent clientelle!
Hey Tel the Kids are playing up again, what do you reckon? no McDonalds for a few weeks.

MDJ that's being a bit stereotypical not Tel's fault that he's a Scouser.

at least we Scousers don't need to name our city"Bath" to remind us to have one now and again. :D:D:D.

For a while I got my MOT done at the local bus garage because they don't do any remedial work there - I was sick of unscrupulous garages fleecing me for unnecessary work off the back of MOTs.
Likewise this customer is obviously playing it cautiously by not getting you to do the remedials you've identified.

As with an MOT the customer is going to want a satisfactory EICR and not an unsatisfactory one with a receipt to say the remedial work has been done.

Similarly the customer could get someone else in to do another EICR or you could agree to go back and do a partial retest for a reduced fee like with an MOT, but unlike an MOT you have no obligation to offer this.

is that now, now, it's sunday. time for a bath ready for st'george's day tomorrow. ? pete, you know i jest and don't mean any disrespect, but the Scouser post just had to be riposted. :D:D:D.
