Not a question. Just feeling annoyed and venting.

I carried out an EICR on a small domestic property, cleared a few small faults free of charge but gave an Unsatisfactory to Main Earthing and Equipotential Bonding Conductor Sizes.

Gave a low quote to put right.

He now phoned me up to say he has completed the repairs himself.

Annoying - as I will have to go over there are inspect and retest Ze and bond continuity anyway.

He must have opened up the consumer unit as well.

Grrrr!

Any thoughts welcome but I suspect I have to just suck it up (buttercup).

as i read sparksfly's post, i understood he meant that if the client wanted him to fix any C1 or C2 issues, rather than issue an unsatisfactory report, he'd do the remedials and issue a satisfactory report
Tel, I don't very often disagree with your comments, as we are both like minded elders, but in this instance, I do still believe what sparkfly intimated was that he that he would withold the report, tell the client what was wrong, quote and then issue another report after he had done the remedial work.
Perhaps if sparksfly's post had been a little bit more detailed the confusion would not have occured, sorry sparksfly.

that's the problem with internet/forums. sometimes you say what you meant to say, but it turns out differently to another person reading it. can't beat a face to face over a couple of pints. :p

We would have to sit to be face to face with you as your in your wheel chair lol

i have a weston's glass for cider, theakston's glass for OP, marston's glass for pedigree, and 4 stella glasses for the lager louts when they visit. Mrs. T. not like all these glasses cluttering up the cupboard, but i say pot calling kettle with all your various plates, cups, mugs, and assorted crap. OUCH. never saw her behind me then.
