Ok tin hat on for a minute...

I have never ever bothered to acquire or use a torque rated screw driver

I have been offered a second hand wiha one by a mate for £20 as he is buggering off to Spain to work

Are they worth using ?

At €54.00 a time for recalibration these are expensive maintainance.....the MFT is cheaper!

Been looking on Ebay for one after seeing the Wiha rep at the wholesalers a few weeks ago.
Prices are comparable on Ebay to buying new if you're going for Wiha or Wera

However I did find this:
Gift Idea! Magnetic Torque Screwdriver 1nm > 8nm Ideal For Bicycle Cycle 5018341560942 | eBay - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Gift-Idea-Magnetic-Torque-Screwdriver-1nm-8nm-Ideal-For-Bicycle-Cycle/163135099476?epid=1337918412&hash=item25fb9c1254:g:px4AAOSwMBdb4Wm-

Much cheaper.
Its adjustable.
It has a selection of bits.
Just not VDE insulated.
Is it permissible to use this one?
