Thanks. but that's not the information I am afterNo literally, that crack through the metal on the right, is that fuse going back into service?
I have to choose one of the two option from the drop down menu when filling EIC.What do you mean what type?
What information are you looking for that isn't there already?
Type iiI have to choose one of the two option from the drop down menu when filling EIC.
a) BS 1361Fuse hbc domestic type l or
b) BS 1361Fuse hbc domestic type ll
Perhaps not, however likely more important than selection on a drop down if you intend on putting that back into service, if not then all goodThanks. but that's not the information I am after
Thanks a lot!!! very detailed answer.Type ii
Type I are the small ones that fit in the cu.
Type II are the larger ones which fit in the cut out.
Bussmann Mark type II as lr and type I as kr
Thanks. I will inform the customer and mention this in the comment section of EIC.It's type 2. And it needs replaced with that crack.

Only problem then is that it is in black and white that you have removed the fuse! Thanks. I will inform the customer and mention this in the comment section of EIC.
great shout . tbh I didn't notice until you mentioned. It's got a crack in it
oops . I had to! the old consumer unit had loose neutral in the main switch.Only problem then is that it is in black and white that you have removed the fuse!
as I mentioned before I did not notice this before. need to go specsaversSo your choices are put a dangerous fuse back in, or buy a very easily available 100a fuse bs1361 type 2 and fit that instead which would be far more safe
