I came across this fuse twice. Could someone here let me know what type of fuse this is.? I need to fill EIC.
 
Why does a loose neutral at the mainswitch need the fuse pulled?

Devils advocate.

With the mainswitch off, no load. Neutral will be at, well, neutral. Nothing. Nada.

Yes, technically a neutral is a live conductor… but voltage test to earth first, and insulated screwdriver.
 
You pulled the fuse live though, which is probably more dangerous than tightening a loose neutral.
What would you do if you find neutral terminal on main switch damaged due to heat and you can not properly tighten it? I did what I thought was the best option at that time.
