Ok Thanks for a speedy reply , i thought that would be the case for the light, with the sockets is that because i am increasing the number of outlets as the wiring will remain the same?
Just been asked to change 2 single sockets for triple converter sockets would this be acceptable under like for like replacement as there is no rcd protection.
Also wants an additional outside light run from existing outside light can this be done without upgrade to rcd

What are peoples thoughts on trustmark? Last year i paid to become trustmark registered thinking its goverment recognised and that most councils would promote it, this year i find my local council has brought out its own version at twice the cost and is promoting that exclusivley!

If your just changing the cu not rewiring then so long as the existing circuits are in satisfactory condition it shouldnt be a problem most 2up 2downs used to be wired with just one ltg circuit
