Why are you putting lights on the pool? This project can be as easy or as hard as you make it, install lights onto PVC conduit wired in PVC singles with pair's to control them- simples
Thats not quite right, if you have technical certificate level 3 and NVQ 3 then the JIB will grade you as electrician, you need 2382 and 2391 to get approved electrician grade. hope that helps
Fran1990 you should receive your results by the following friday as the AM2 examiner fills in the sheets and that gets sent to NET the AM2 people and then you get your results. Your mate may have got his results the next day if it was a resit of section B, C or D.
It may be a bit over an hour to travel, but if you try our website and compare the prices I think you may be suprised, cheaper than most and an excellent pass rate

There are still advanced modern appreticeships thank god but not as many as there should be unfortunately. 48 months long with all the trimmings. JTL and other training providers are still placing apprentices with the companoes who will take them on long may it continue!

If you have completed an advanced modern apprenticeship, got your level 3 technical certificate (2330) got your NVQ level 3 and an AM2 pass then you can get your JIB grading as an electrician. To get your Approved electrician JIB card you need all that plus 2 years as a qualified electrician...
That is an excellent bit of advice Sparky_Ben, especially the "make sure you can test" bit.
My advice is go to the refresher day first, it may seem a wate of time but it can be very very useful especially if you don't do much testing on site
