    more and more I am coming across fittings that are marked up cat 2 double insulated when there clearly surrounded with metal. Had a customer supplied fitting with metal base and a cowel that was powder coated alumininium.... not an earth terminal in site!

    Bs7671 states fixed appliances 2kw or more should have dedicated circuit. 32 amp circuit has stood the test of time and future proofs any upgrade from 2.4kw fan ovens. Sorry off at a tangent to your original query....... but worth noting I feel.

    My days if moving fridges, washing machines are long gone after a leak was attributed to me during an EICR. Put a coming asking restricted access.
