mmmmmm. . . . . . me thinks this is the power board side of things, therefore not possible. phase blocks? do you mean henly blocks? also not p[ossible as there are none in and the supplies are in the ground floor garage whilst the flat is on the 3rd floor. come on guys . . . how would this...- lurch

Hi I have just installed an RCD to an exixting E7 install. Does any one know if there is a test facilty in order to test the Ze and the RCD? Otherwise I gotta come back at 1130pm!! Thx in advance -
crabteree starbreaker rcbo's
it's one module one I need . the type that bolt to the bus bar. I need 15 of em. The existing CU is of a recessed type, with no spare ways and swapping out with a new cu is not practical, so I wanna replace all mcb's with rcbo's. I have spoken to Wilts who say they can get them @ £22 plus...- lurch

Cu upgrade
All I have just completed a CU upgrade. I wont talk about the borrwoed neutral between the up and down lights!!! However, the lighting circuits, although in pvc do not have a cpc. I have advised the customer and given him a price to re-wire the lights, which he says will accept but is not... -

Heaters - kw how much?
i need to put a panel heater in a flat. has any body got a method of working out how much kw per cubic metere is required to heat the flat sufficiently? Rgds -

JIB rate for an approved electrician with own transport is £13.67. I would say a self employed subby would be looking at £18-20 an hour!- lurch

let him plug it up and watch the fuse pop in the plug top. that thing is gona drag around 20amps. Yes it needs its own circuitminimum of 25A supply(not sure iof you can get 25A MCB'S. You can in Eurpe) but 30A is more likely.- lurch
