    I've got the Bosch 10.8v Li-ion model, great bit of kit, so handy for many jobs, I'll have to try the shark blades. As previous people have said the blades don't seem to last very long.

    Slightly off topic but I bought some T&E clips from toolstation, ok until you try to knock them into anything harder than timber. Tower clips every time for me!

    All the simple testers tell you are the pairs are wired correctly, it does not test the active electrical characteristics. A poorly installed will pass the simple test but can cause severe network problems with bad packets, reflective losses and noise.

    Had a quick look at their web site. Am I right in thinking you need internet access to get the form up on the PC. If this is the case you will neeed either to use the customers wifi (if power is on) or connect with a usb dongle.

    I was planning to use straight couplers and just glue one end. I have'nt seen anywhere that sells expansion couplers for 20mm pvc conduit.

    Immersion spur

    Not really allowed by the Regs, you will probably find if the house has a split CU the immersion will not be on an RCD to prevent nuisance tripping. A lot better to have a fused spur of the main ring circuit. ]
