Hi thanks for the reply. I'm working for someone doing domestic and commercial. I've been putting myself through college on a evening course and just waiting to do the regs etc
Hi
I'm hoping to get some advice so I can start to move in the right direction, I'm wanting to know what qualifications and anything else I need to get on some big contracts and earn some decent money, I've currently got my C&G L2 & L3 and waiting to do my regs and testing and inspecting...
I would use SWA because it's going from the house to the shed. As you know yourself SWA offers mechanical protection so if it's getting buried or clipped from the house to the shed then I would of thought it's the best cable to use. For what OP said he's putting in the shed I was thinking 2.5mm...
I don't understand why he would run a 4mm T&E then a 6mm SWA. Would I be wrong in thinking that a 2.5mm swa from the cu to the shed would be acceptable?

I have been lucky enough to be working in the trade for the passed 6 years gaining valuable...
I got paid by means of her slamming the money in my hand and saying 'here'

Hi Chris
I wouldn't like to say on this one. I'm not long out of college and still gaining experience but I'm looking forward to seeing the replies from others on here as it's a good question
Anyone else been in this situation, if so how did you handle it?
Get called out to someone who has a living room light that isn't working. Turn up on time, put boot covers on, dust sheet down, I'm polite, the light fitting is class 1 (and also faulty) getting power to it but not working. The...
