Neither have I. Kind of spooked me.
Has an electric shower and water heater so probably won't get away with 16amp.
Db in mobile has 2rcbos 1 for shower and one for power and 10a McB for lights
Hi all.
I've been asked to hook up a mobile home to a house. My initial intention was to fit a rcbo in the dB and then a socket at the gable end. Blue type one.
Earthing is tnc_s.
So the previous owner has told the new owner that the mobile is negatively wired. He has told me this and tbh...
Think youve been told wrong.
All I have is the senior trades too. And to be honest i would take it anyday over the crap they have now.
Did you ever apply for your national craft cert?
My last job was 100 standby. An hour for taking the call and 4 hours if you had to attend.
So if you got a call at midnight 1 hour at double time for answering phone. 4 hours for first hour and double time afterwards. Nice little earner but taxman takes the good out of it. Also if out passed...
Hi All.
I am looking for a good quality and priced led lighting manufacturer.
Mostly the panel type led 600x600 and 1200 x600, but also the conversion kits for 28w 2d fittings.
I am based in Ireland and looking into a new business idea
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Was chatting with a guy today and we were chatting about the biggest sites we had work on.
Mine was Intel fab 24. It had 700 electricians. I think about 3500 men in total. Was a great job for the old hiding spots. The good old days.
Anyone on bigger?
Would probably be me but I'm in the emerald Isle....lol..
I did work with a guy about 15 years ago and I thought he was the best sparks I'd worked with. The guy could have been anything but unfortunately he was a raging alcoholic.
I know this is an old thread but just thought I'd share. Last night I had to make the decision to put my golden retriever to sleep. I kind of inherited her after my mum passed away last year. She was my mums loyal companion for 10 years and mine for 1. I'm devastated to be honest and it seems...
We have training tools etc. And the paperwork takes longer than the job. It does be carried out as safe as possible and I'm not having a go at my company it's just the way it is.
We have scheduled shutdowns for planned works. But sometimes as you know things just happen that are business...
I think we all take chances no matter what we do. I know my biggest fail is I'm too lazy to go to the van and get a bigger (heavier) ladder. I'll chance the wee fibre one. Sometimes I won't change my footwear either. I know I should and I know if something happens I'll be told you were supplied...
In fairness all the guys are top notch(better tradesmen than me)All at least 20 years in the trade. But we are only human. The phone could ring and that simple distraction could do harm.
No its not. But these big companies don't think like that. The real world is somewhat different than the ideal one. Some times you bite your lips and get on with it.
