I have just got one and had the serial number check and it is part of a batch that where stolen from fluke so im out of pocket with a tester that i can't use

When i take all the sockets and fcu's off i was getting >200 ohms and i test all the sockets all ok but when connected getting all kind of readings as low as 30 megger ohms
if i leave the tester lock on will claim to 160

do i need to upgrade the meter tails and main earth
i think the meter tails are 16mm2 and the main earth is 10mm2

Hi I'm just about to rewire a kitchen called Labc they said they will visit when first fix is done and again when the job is complete and they said i can do all the testing but i still have to pay them £150
the kitchen is on the upstairs ring with the boiler so I'm looking at taking it off that ring and putting it on its own ring and then just close the upstairs ring so all is on it is the boiler and 4 sockets
