    sorry I should have said it was insulation resistance test. The RCD was tested for tripping time was at a socket

    Hi I have done a test on a lighting circuit and can't get my head round results. Live--Live == 2.19 m ohms Live-E ==== 99.9 m ohms Also RCD tipping test at I ==400ms but does not trip but at I5 trips at 14.7 ms can anyone shed any light. Thanks Col

    Hi can anyone give me a clue -- I have tested a ring circuit with a couple of spurs and continuity on line, neutral, and cpc test o. k as does insulation resistance on live to cpc= 299 but live to neutral = 0.02 and neutral to cpc =0.00. Thank's Col

    Hi Murdock ,sorry I should have put in my first post I have City and Guilds Level 2 all modules City and Guilds Level 3 all modules and 17th Edition and done part time in a paper mill with there electricians.
