I will do the donkey work and will get it connected by a proper sparks at the end.

Is there a general "rule of thumb" for the size of cable needed for an electric shower or is the answer as always "it depends"?
In short can I use 6mm cable (already installed) to supply a 8.5Kw shower.

I currently have a TNS system and a an analogue meter.
My question is; Am I better off changing to a TNCS system with a digital meter?
Any idea of cost?
What is the advantage of TNCS (if any)overTNS.
