Curious DNO MET on TT System

I'd try a Ze from the block below the meter, looks like a TN just never had the earth connected.

    UK A mysterious phenomenon.

The backbox in the socket will be creating a cold spot allowing condensation to build up, it would be worth investigating behind it to see if you can insulate behind it.

Same here, normally just sits in it's box until needed, had mine around the same length of time and has proven to be really handy for channelling into concrete etc.

    UK Two Electricity Meter

They either need to get the supplier in to fit two an additional meter so it can be billed separately or fit a sub meter and the customer bills the tenant direct at an agreed price.

Methods for pricing domestic new build

Has the architect provided diagrams showing accessory positions etc? Any requirement for data/TV points, EVCP, PV etc? For a one off build I'd probably sit down for a day and design the full installation from the blueprints.

Permanent live for smoke alarms and emergency lighting

Only in recent years has BS7671 recommended running a neutral to the switch position to allow for future upgrades. You can get smart switches that work without a neutral but for the cost of a few meters of cable on a new build or rewire it makes sense to run a neutral in. Ideally the ceiling...

Permanent live for smoke alarms and emergency lighting

Modern installations could be run via the switch however the vast majority are still looped at the light and have a neutral run to the switch. This allows the circuit to be tapped for smokes etc and have smart switches installed if required. I'm not up to date on the latest requirements in your...

Permanent live for smoke alarms and emergency lighting

If this is a standard UK ceiling rose then you will have a permanent line and neutral available at this point. Even if the rose has been replaced with a newer light fitting there will often be a L&N available. I would certainly recommend AICO radiolink units, no messing around with an...

    ELECTRICAL REPORT ADVICE

I'm with @timhoward on this one, there's a lot of issues there but they're all pretty much the same things just repeated several times. If you lets us know you're rough location possibly a forum member might be nearby for a second opinion.

    ELECTRICAL REPORT ADVICE

Can you provide pictures of your exiting consumer unit, meter and suppliers equipment? On face value it seems like a lot but several of those could be lumped together due to lack of RCD protection.

    Electric gate power

Might also be worth looking at how the lights are triggered as often the gate controls will have an output for them when the gates are opened.

    Meter reading corrupted

The contractor who installed the isolator quite possibly will have pictures of before and after work, ideally you need these. The meter seals appear to be intact so this is evidence pointing towards you have tried to tamper with the meter. Take a look at the OFGEM complaints process on how you...

Bedroom to Spa Tub room conversion - existing plug sockets.

Is there RCD protection for the circuit? At least they are using MF boxes and will certify the work unlike a lot of other companies who would just use a couple of choc blocks and some tape...
