    You shouldnt need one if you use a volt free programmer or stat these can come ready for volt free wiring.

    Update. Customer phone supplier and the supplier will not change to a payg standard meter. Seems harsh but they push big on smart meters now. I can see this unit eventually giving up the ghost and then the customer will be fitted with a smart meter imo. Thanks for input

    A customer has a pay as you go ec7 meter, the need for ec7 is no longer but they want to keep the pay as you go (wont be talked onto a DD) am i right in thinking they dont need to change the meter just inform there energy supplier that they want to go on standard tariff? Thanks :)

    Thanks lucien nice to hear a full and informative reply. The mechanics said there was smoke coming from the switch and the little transformer looks worse for wear, what would this transformer do? Yes its a very old hydrolic ramp with no safety locks its really old, Btw no valve to drop down

    Picture attached where the two contacts pushed down on. Hope this is helpful to you and you are able to share your wisdom now? Are you able to explain how this switch can change the direction of the motor alone?
